Strange... came home and my clown was sucked into the powerhead.. thought he was dead but as I tapped the glass, he moved away immediately. Apparently he started hosting the powerhead and pretends to be dead... the smaller clown following suit too.

Strange or normal?

Normal I think. Mine act dead around their host lol. Perhaps get something to cover the front of the power head to prevent them from being sucked into it if you turn off the system to clean or something and they take a peek in the front.

Normal... Taking a break and relaxing. I mean cant you see his eyelids were closed??

Dang the title on this one, thought I was going to see some clown chow in the tank. Thankfully that is not the case! I have heard they like odd objects to host them. A guard might help just in case. My old longnose hawkfish loved it too because he realized food would eventually get pulled from there so it would perch and wait. Very smart.

Sucked up against and sucked into are two VERY different things. Former mostly OK, latter never OK.
