Collection Trip - Ft. Desoto Sunday October 9th

It is that time again for our annual collection trip to Ft. Desoto. Last year we had one on September 19th. This year we are only having one so don't miss out on it. The club will supply the meat and drinks. Members bring a covered dish. The weather should be cooler by then, but still warm. Bring out the kids. Bring out your water shoes and I believe this year a fishing license is needed. Here is the map to the location.

Here is the thread from last year. Todd was hoping to make it out with his boat last year and did not. Should we take bets on whether he makes it this year?

Come out and have a great time with us! We always have a blast and so do the kids.
Russ and I will probably be out there by 9am and usually leave around 2-3 at the latest. Y'all can go swimming out there as well after the collection trip.

what kind of stuff have you found out there? may be a stupid question but are you finding stuff to put in your tanks? is that safe? please help a newb out! lol would definitely be interested in joining.
 
Dang, I am going to miss this AND the October meeting as I will be out of town for both of them :furious:
 
Gonna miss this too..gotta work! Enjoy "sea sweeper" the perfect tool for all your grass bed collection needs! Easy to make and gives years of service. Thanks again for the visit and helping me move those tanks. I will post pics on the continuing build and filling of the system.

I have checked our members list and it shows you as a member. I will have Mike check into it again. Can there be something on your computer settings that is not allowing you to post, nortons?
 
going to have to miss this one as well, gotta get all the ducks in a row as I'm working in Iowa next week. Hopefully be at the next meeting.
 
I live right next to the park I would love to come! I dont know if my member fees are up to date? Can you let me know? Also if im not a member any longer I need to fix that. Hope I make it out there!
 
i wanna go but i'm gonna be in Chicago for a family wedding that weekend :( good luck all and if you catch an over abundance of nessarius snails, lmk and i'll trade a frag for some :)
