Comas Frag Tank

A few new pictures of the frag tank. Dealt with a algae outbreak and dumped the old sand. Got phosphates, nitrates and nitrites to undetectable levels. Had good polyp extension from all the corals and even the wrasse is friendly in front of the camera.

The new T5 fixture is in, just waiting for the bulbs now, should have some new pictures of the current setup posted soon. Now we should see some better growth and coloration out of the frags snce the old fixture is kind of on it's last leg.

Just wow! Also added A new koralia 750 to improve flow as the k1's just weren't getting the job done.

I will get out the good camera tomorrow after work and get some new updated pictures.

Since we just moved the frag tank, we will NOT be bringing any frags to the meeting so that everything has time to acclimate to the new lights and be good and healthy for their new homes in your tanks. If you have anything you wish to donate to the frag program, feel free to bring them along!

Thanks!

The frag tank is very full! We really need to get some frags checked out and growing in people's tanks. You are welcome to come by the house to pick up frags, just make sure you have the right setting for corals you wish to take.

We have multiple birds nest's, several monti caps, a few encrusting montis, we have a nice hammer colony that needs to be fragged and spread thru the community.

Some of the new one's added last night:

Pink birds nest
Blue Zoas
Nuclear Green Zoas
Rainbow monti
Mint green Elkhorn
Green Candy canes
Meteor shower
Confusia
Green Milli
Red Monti Cap
Purple Haze
Japonica
ORA Frogskin

We have a few mushrooms and a handful of zoanthids, the majority of what is currently frag tank is LPS and SPS. We are off Sara Road and sw 15th.

I need to know what frags you want, It will need to be Thursday or Friday after 6:30pm. We are going to the Thunder game tonight and I'm on call this weekend.

Just remember, you have to be a current member of COMAS to take part in the frag program.

I an a paid member as well. I'd like some blue zoas as well, and done montis. Just give me directions and I'll be there whenever is convenient for u
