donations, donations, donations

donations, donations, donations

Thanks to over a half dozen people, I packed out a styro shipping box of plastic bags to bring home.

I brought home everything from softies, to polyps to sps.

Everything passed the dipping station and is in the tank.

It will take a few days to get it all sorted out an in a resting place based on lighting and flow.

Lots of fun. I'll try to shoot some quick picks in a week or so if things open up well.

Got to hear stories of corals in new homes;

Got to yak with some friends;

Got to meet some coming to their first meeting.

If I had pictures ready for the next thread,
I'd start the whole thing over again Monday.

Lynn, did you get names for all the coral? Let me know if not I think we got most of them.

Won't know for couple days, but will get back to you. Last night I dipped and dipped and dipped. I forgot how many bags. So everything just went into the tank to settle.

First glance after lights on, everything seems ok from all donors.

Thanks for the new pic in his new home.

If your mag/alk/calc are strong and stable, you should see a rim appear.

Thanks to all who donated. I brought home some nice goodies that should filter out over the next 6 months. Some need fragging, some need to grow, some I have to :reading: . Some I have not had since I started as fragmaster flash.

Thanks to the first time people who came up and introduced themselves and came back when it slowed down and talked;

Thanks to the organizers and speaker. Having read this material and cussed and discussed this information, I still learned a couple new things;

Thanks to those who received frags that will be the future of the tank in the coming months;

From the frag program, special thanks to those who brought back corals:

JasonF-- second month in a row-- now I know what an Octo looks like
Kender-- long time friend of the tank
mtiknoles--beautiful things you will love to see
reefhappy-- lots of goodies, certianly not a first time donator
Glazner-- nice goodies
madkat-- mysteries are pretty

If you haven't heard this you haven't been listening,
Thanks for letting me keep the COMAS donor tank.
I have fun doing it and mostly meeting all of you :celeb1:

So lynn,

Any ideas what they are? I have a colony of about 200 heads

<edit> for those of you wondering... here are 2 pics. Any ideas?
