COMAS garage sale

Sarah- I have you working Sat. Want afternoon to do books? Or all day? Kevin and Susan what time Fri. are you bringing the tables? I want everything on the tables so we can just carry stuff out at 7:30 in the morning. I will have donuts or something for the early crew...coffee for sure.
 
I will be there Friday to asssist in setting up, and will be there on Saturday morning to help setup. I can stay for a good part of Saturday if needed. How late do you plan to stay open?
 
Sheryl we should be down there by 7:30 or so. Have the steaks on the grill and the lobster steaming. I will stop by Barbs to get her tables and I will get 5 or so from my lodge.

I get off work at 5pm friday evening, so realistically I will prob be at Serra's house around 6:30. plenty of time for wine and sandwiches :-) I have just started going through my house and already my living room is packed with stuff. A friend with a truck is picking me (and my stuff) up at my place. Do we have stuff for making signs? has anyone arranged to place an ad in the paper?
 
I will bring the signs and place them either on Friday night late or on my way to the sale on Saturday morning. I think we are going to make aloooootttt of money, guys.

Sheryl, let me know Friday night if you have enough tables...I can bring another 8' if needed.

craigslist sounds like a good idea to me. I have a ton of stuff to sell and I am willing to work sunday to move it. Will there be a charity pick up? I have a bag of clothes i'm not interested in selling, I would rather just donate it.
 
I will be working another charity garage sale for a youth group that I am an advisor for the following weekend. I will take any leftovers anybody wants to donate to that sale if it is OK.
 
I'm having Jamia bring over a truck load of stuff. I have stuff at my house as well. I think she's already broguht some of the stuff from the store.
I want to send a very big THANK YOU to everyone who is taking part in this sale. Serra, thank you for getting the ball rolling and deligating jobs to those who have offered their time and assistance.
This is what the word "club" is all about! I can't tell you how awesome I feel to be a part of COMAS.

Yes I am calling a charity to pick up the leftover. You can list garage sales in craiglist? If so...it's done.

LA- Jamia brough the stuff. The dogs found the fish food right away. Had to get it unpacked and up. There is nothing worse than a dog with fish food breath!
 
Anyone bring items for which they will keep the money less our 10% better have it well marked and your inventory list. We will have so much stuff to keep track of.

I am making this a Sat and Sun sale since I will probably shut it down early if it is too hot. Sun. will be half off to I'll pay you to take it, so if you don't want your stuff sold like that come get it Sat!
 
The paper will abbreviate it for you if you say you only want 2 or 3 lines. You might say something like "HUGE Multi-Family"

By the sounds of this thread, there is going to be a ton of stuff at this sale that is more than likely going to run out of the garage, off the driveway and into the yard. There are going to be plenty of tables, right?
