Pat Ormiston, owner of PFO Lighting, Inc. and Joy Meadows will be giving a presentation on Friday, July 20 at the SCMAS meeting in Santa Ana! Pat is also one of our speakers for Reef-A-Palooza this August.

At the meeting, Pat will be demonstrating PFO's new "Galilieo" LED light hood that is slicker, lower-profile, and ~ HALF the cost of it's Solaris cousin! The new hood is currently available in 9", 24", 30" and 48" lengths and is a great economical alternative to the more expensive Solaris lighting system. The lecture will also cover the most significant differences in Metal Halide and LED technologies.

In addition, they will also be donating a Metal Halide retro kit for some lucky winner to take home at the end of the night. As usual, our raffles are the best around....so come on over to the IHOP, listen in on a GREAT lecture, stuff your face with some pancakes, and be a winner all in one night! :)

We will also have the new SCMAS credit-card-style membership cards available for those who have not recieved thier's yet. Please e-mail me at SCMASPresident if you haven't done so already so I can make your new card before the meeting.

thank you for everyone's participation!

Do you have to be a member to come?

Absolutely not....everyone is welcome whether you wish to become a member or not. In fact, we don't actively recruit people nor do we even try to sell memberships at the meetings (though you can if you want) membership for 2007 is $25 and 2008 will be only $30. We also implemented brandnew membership cards recently so everyone will be getting the new credit-card style card with color photo ID. Stay tuned as there will be much more to come...this is just the start folks! ;)

No problem Richard.

If anyone else wishes to purchase advance tickets for admission to Reef-A-Palooza, you can either purchase them at the SCMAS meeting July 20 or e-mail me at: SCMASPresident@aol.com
(Paypal is accepted)

2 BIG reasons to purchase in advance:
1) to avoid the long line of people waiting at the cashier
2) there with be a seperate "priority line" for holders of these tickets.
'tiss a good thing, it 'tiss ;)

Mannn, I'm glad you got finally got that plumbing thing figured out. You've been struggling with that issue for quite some time. I wish I had more time on my hands, I really do. Glad I could help somewhat over the phone at least.

Oh, and I just cleaned out my inbox....sorry about that

Tell her that you're going to research a brand new, never seen before, state of the art automation device that will allow you spend less time on your tank and more time with her... But don't blame me if you get in trouble.

Hey guys, we've got a nice 175-watt PFO retro kit to raffle off, some John Warner products, and some goodies from LiquidLife USA....not to mention lots of gift certificates and other drygoods.

I've also got a little gift for everyone who attends. ;)

Meeting is THIS Friday, July 20 at 1001 E. 17th street, Santa Ana
(IHOP Restaraunt) just one block East of the 5 FRWY....REALLY easy to get to.
We'll see you there!
