confused about lighitng for a clam

i have a 29gallon sps tank and wanted to get some clams, well reading through this thread i saw a post that said "i have a 20gallon tank and 150watt mh wont be enough for a clam." is this true? cuz on my tank i have a 150watt watt aquamedic mh pendant with a 150watt 10k hqi bulb. i mean i would think this is over kill but idk i have never had a clam? n e ways could someone tell me how much more lighing i would need or if im fine?
