Connecting the Profilux with USB wireless network

I am having a really hard time paying $345 for a GHL wireless network card.

I was thinking I could get a GHL USB card and plug in a USB wireless network stick into it so that it can connect to my wireless router.

Would this work?

GHL USB expansion card - $75
Wireless network USB stick - $30

Nope as tha card holds the programming and the reason why it is more expensive, also the fact that it uses Lantronix as the interface which is highly stable but as with most things in life that are very reliable there is a price attached to it.
