I'll get some more pics. But she is currently settling into her Qt.
I figured I would give her two little pieces of pe mysis (have some larger ones) and gobble gobble. I didn't figure if have a problem based on her look and what she was doing.
So far so good.
Amazing amazing.... Well worth the savings put aside for her.
are they talking 'body' or 'body & tail' length?

Just listened to the voicemail again. My mistake, he did correct himself and say 4.5-5". He didn't specify which he was measuring. Really kicking myself, it was priced the same as one @ 6". Glad it at least went to someone on here.
RD, if you dont mind me asking, where are you located? They made it sound like it ended up somewhere in my area....

I would have went out and bought a tank and Qt till you were done.
I've had my LFS looking for one under 5 for awhile. This is the smallest Conspic he had ever been offered.
I believe he was offered it on Thursday before last, so the 27th ( not looking at a calendar)

LOL that is not the Qt tank. My friend wanted some pictures before I took her home so he put her in a small tank with the bag water for pics.
She's currently in a 37 gallon Qt. This is her current home.
Eating like a pig.
I just got one from Old Town on Tuesday, almost exactly the same. She is certainly not over 5", more like 4.5", and eating like a pig. She ate flake pretty much right out of the bag and by the second day was eating a couple different types of Flake, pellets and Larry's.
Same kind of personality, likes to be in front of the tank if anyone is looking.
If I knew how to post pics, I would.

I called and talked to Old Town 2 weeks ago and they had just gotten the Conspic in. Everyone thinks that QM only got the one in, they had several around that size obviously and it sounds like the one that was passed up on Monday is still at QM... Congrats on the pick up I'm jealous to say the least

All I know is I love this little lady.
Here is what I know concerning this story.
QM had two conspics ( I don't know when they arrived). These two conspics were sold to Old Town Aquarium. It appears they have one now as VegasMike just bought one.
My little girl arrived at QM on Wednesday, Feb. 25th. She was smaller than the two that Old Town purchased. She was offered to Old Town but I believe they declined because they had purchased the (2) already.
My friend was offered her on Thursday, Feb. 26. and hence I was offered her too. Hence my original post.
I know that I contacted my friend on Friday and expressed interest. I'm not sure if he told QM yes at that point but bottom line is on Monday, March 2 she was reserved.
I can't imagine QM has more than 3 conspics.
Anyways. This is one awesome fish.
I've tried to stay out of the room as much as possible but I believe angels get lonely. They are kind of like a cockatoo where they like attention outside themselves.
Last night she was playing peekabo and and out of the PVC pipe.

If she was mine we would quickly become best friends. I like to keep my hand out of my tank as much as possible but I might train her to eat out of your hand

Awesome fish, I had one several years back from Marine Cneter and it was closer to 7"

Yea, mine may be a bit larger, but not much. It's crazy, but I was able to hold my ruler up to the tank and she swam up right next to the ruler, almost against the glass. She is 4.5", no larger. She is a pig and about as gregarious as they get. There is no "training" her to eat out of my hand, she already is.
