Coral Tank from Canada (1350gal Display Tank) - split

I rather suspect it has more to do with the golfing weather.

Being Swedish and having lived in Canada for 12 (I think) years I know exactly what Canadians are.....Swedes who don't speak Swedish. :) The similarities are sometimes frightening.

If we could just unify over a language we could merge, Norway might be included as well.

My mother's side of the family is Swedish so I see the similarities. Swedes worry more and are less outward with emotion (taciturn). Maybe that's why Swedes live a year longer than Canadians and Americans live 6 years less than Canadians :)

Also, if you slip on ice and really hurt yourself badly, Canadians are less likely to point and laugh. :) (same goes for Americans, even those "incredibly rude New Yorkers" I was told about...they are really quite nice actually.)

....homesick?.....Spend some time at a local Ikea up here......smother you with politeness (the staff - not necessarily the customers) ;)

I have read the 317 pages in the other thread and the 28 in this one and all I can say is I am amazed by the ideas and help that this community gives

I love the tank setup, watched the films, and enjoyed the pics

I am in the middle of a 185 reef build

I am doing a approach that I have not seen done in years so I am going to be bringing up the past on a lot of ideas that I want to incorporate, but I also would like to know if I can use some of your ideas in my fish room build as well.

again, this tank build is a inspiration and I thank you for the info that you have posted to help others, like myself, with our builds

"By the way you cannot leave too much room for the fish room. Better still do what chingchai did and make it part of you display. If you haven't read his build yet, I highly recommend it. It is a blueprint for best practices for the serious aquariest.

Again welcome aboard!

I have not been able to find the link that you are referring to, I have looked at a few of the builds that chingchai has done but which one are you referring to?

I don't know why my link isn't working in the post 696 but here it is http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?p=21660991#post21660991

again thank you for all the inspiring wisdom and info the community shared on the build, mr. Wilson, chingchai, and all the contributors.
this is a top notch build

Thank you for the praise, we appreciate the continuing support from this community.

The part of Chingchai's build that I was referring to was the very beginning of his thread where his preliminary engineering designs were laid out. The graphics are excellent and set the tone for what was to follow. They are at the very beginning of his thread before the split.
