CPR Bak Pak Overflow

Yesterday my overflow started to make gurling noises. It's pretty intermittent, maybe once ever 1-3 minutes. It is really annoying. I added some water thinking it was running low. It did not help. Anyone have any ideas?

I had a CPR overflow. I had to clean up water off the floor many times from it losing its siphon. You may have a air pocket. If you dont have that pump for it you may want to try sucking saltwater to get a better siphon. Just my $0.02

I have the pump that keeps it's siphon. So it's not that. You are right though, they are more trouble than they are worth. Any other suggestions? I am typing this as the gurgling continues....ahhh!!

I can commiserate with the CPRs, that gurgling is a pain. that is coming from the water flowing oddly down the drain tube. It just like a heart murmur. There should be a long glass/plastic ube that you slide down the middle of the baffle. I adjust its height and that seems to work..

I pushed the tubes down and it seemed to help, but not eliminate it. It sounds like when you are at the bottom of a drink and you keep sucking through the straw. It's so annoying, but has improved a little.

The most you can do is adjust the tube up and down till the sound is eliminated. Also be sure the sponge is clean and clear. Check that there is no air in the upper section of the overflow.

That the aqualifter is indeed working sometimes they need to be cleaned-flushed out or the tap need to be cleaned out with a paper clip.

What CPR overflow are you running and what return pump?
