That is why I built my own... I knew what I wanted and did not want to have to explain it or be upset about build quality or having to argue about what "I" wanted, not what "they" do.

I've had 4 sumps, built 3, bought 1 from GC. The ones I built myself were based on standard aquariums. The one I had GC build needed to be a very specific size of which there was nothing standard that would work. I'm not an an acrylic fabricator and decided to have it built.
The sump was fine, but I would definitely give them the fully dimensioned diagrams and get them on the phone and go over the design.
