Hello, everyone :)
Im a newbie with nano reefing so im wondering how long does it usually take for a 12g nano cube to cycle? Im getting my live rock fully cured from an already established tank...ive heard nano cubes that have cycled within 1 week and other that have taken 1 month...so im not sure what it typically take to cycle a 12g nano cube. How long has yours taken (those people who have a nano cube)? Thanks!

Well if you're getting cured liverock and won't be seeing much die off there's a chance you won't get much cycle at all. Some people claim to have not gotten any cycle. Just check your params every now and again. It's the only way to tell. Every tank is different

I used rock and sand from my 150 also and did'nt get a cycle.

Keep testing and what I did was after 2 weeks of no ammonia or nitrite started adding small frags from my 55 slowly a few days apart.

Then after 3-4 weeks of never having any ammonia or nitrites and corals looking good I added some snails and hermits.
It's taking a chance though as it could still cycle whenever you add something. That's why you should go slow.

I did'nt add any fish yet. Heres my tank at 5 weeks

I would'nt advise a newbie to add alot that fast though. I have other tanks I could move the corals to if it did cycle.
