Hi, I don't have any experience with AI LEDs.
My AI fixture was the AquaPhoton.
I had one Geismann Coral 14k 250w MH, three ATI Blue+ and one ATI Purple+.
I think the reds look better now than they did before.

Dennis, would you mind filling us in on the hanging kit, are the bars connecting the fixtures included?! If they were fabricated how did you finish them? What are they made out of etc...?

Glad to hear the fixtures are working well for you; as others have stated reds have been an issuein my tank, I cant wait to get my hands on these in the upcoming weeks.

reefsurfing, the bars are custom.
They are just pieces of square aluminum bar cut to size, drilled, and painted black.
The nice thing is that the tops of the Radions have a threaded bolt head in each corner so you can either custom fab your own bracket or wait for the upcoming solution from Ecotech. Either way, it's easy to attach to the Radions.

Everything is doing great under the Radions and my SPS are growing like gangbusters. They never missed a beat during the transition. :thumbsup:
 
Nice shots! Your tank looks great. Are you running all (3) Radiums at full power? Also, do you have to have a seperate USB cable to each light?

Yes, right now the lights are just running at full power until i get the software and can start running the different programs. No usb cables are connected unless I want to make spectrum adjustments. And again, functionality is limited until I get an update.

If you look at the top down shot you will see that if the middle radion is not there, that leaves A LOT of space in the front corner that would not receive enough light.
 
Yep, that's his tank. So Dennis didn't realize you got the Vortech MP's from them as well? That's awesome having your tank out there like that. Can't wait to see the new one.

I've always had two MP40w's, but not on the outside glass like that.
They are mounted in the dry dock in my overflow.
The one in the photo on their site was placed there just for that particular shot.
 
Hey great tank and congrads on the advertizing revenue to support your hobby. A deserving tank to be sure...

Question regarding your tank in room shots: where are you metering the camera or is it an HDR shot? I notices everything is metered the same so I am guessing HDR...?
 
Amazing tank!! I thought it looked familiar when I came across the thread, and it's because you are on all of the Radion press material (I recently bought one myself for my 28g cube).

Awesome to see a fellow Houston reefer and Radion on user!!
