Updated under the hood shot. :)
The ozone generator is mounted to the side of the controller/doser shelf and the air dryer is mounted on the far right.

Also, don't remember if I mentioned it earlier, but I ditched the Avast Spyglass reactor and replaced it with the BRS Deluxe reactor.

And running the ozone the past 24 hours, just on level 1 on the dial, my ORP shot up to 350 mV, which is where I have the controller set to cut the power.
If I turn it off completely, within a couple hours it's back down to around 200 mV.

You seriously need all that? ... lol That looks like so much stuff... Why is all that needed?

It is a hobby.

A lot of people ask me the same question once they see I have 24 TB of storage at home :( Some people go bare and simple, others go high tech. Some dance in the middle.

Wow, that is a lot of stuff. That is like a whole equipment room compared to my sump. Let me know how the ozone works out. My skimmer is set up for that also.

Actually there isn't much there.
That's everything that runs my tank.
Controller, doser, a single reactor for carbon, skimmer, refugium light and now the ozone generator which is really the only added item that most tanks probably don't have.
And the controller is more compact/less complicated that most people's Apex setup.
Guess it just looks more complicated than it really is.

Actually looks pretty sexy. And neat! I could never figure out how to get that much stuff into such a small space and have it look so amazing. You should probably be a guest host on the show "tiny houses".

Funny that you mentioned the spyglass.. I ditched mine maybe a month ago for my old avast mr5.. it seems to be working much better.. Hopefully your brs reactor is doing the same..

I don't think there is a lot of stuff down there. Looking at it it's what I think most people use to run their tanks. Like you said Dennis the only added equipment most people don't have is the ozone generator. Great job Dennis on getting everything to fit in the sump and still look nice.

Yea I wouldn't call that sump excessive at all, looks very well laid out. I think there is a lot in a small space so it makes it look worse, but once study it, you see there isn't really anything more than most people have. Doser, skimmer, dosing containers, some reactors, and a controller.

So far so good.
With the dial set to 1, it's more than enough to shoot my mV up to 360 where i had the controller set to cut power.
I've reset it to 260 for now and will increase it slowly till i'm back to 360.
One thing I've noticed that I forgot about from previous experience is that the glass stays MUCH cleaner. Water seems clearer too.
One thing I didn't forget from last time is that skim mate production has halted. lol!
Making some adjustments there to see if I can get the foam to come back up the neck. I never understood why people say skimmer performance improves. For me it's always the opposite. But I attribute this to less available nutrients for those little bubbles to grab.

In other news... i found this amusing.
I'm acclimating a small derasa clam I just picked up and the bucket is being supported by the cheato cube.

Ha ha.. Dude your sump looks awesomely clean for a reef.. And you have, neatly done, and color coded what most of us don't.. I know for me, man crush for how you get your stuff looking so neat and color coordinated.. I want to go down there and tidy my wires, but it's like where do I begin? Lol, where would Dennis begin...[emoji16] [emoji16] [emoji16]

And it's funny about the cheat brick.. lol.. You and my buddy have given me an idea.. on top of the scrubber, I'm going to try some red dragon macro.. I want to see how it does.. Just doing it's own thing.. I have a strawberry hermit down there(with the eel), but i don't think he would eat it out of house and home..But show some shots of the brick.. It's been a week, so I know first hand that it has to mine nice and solid now!

And btw dude, how you liking that pod explosion and mutant growth? Or have yours not done that yet?

I have always wanted to try ozone, but never had the guts to do it.. It just seems like so much equipment on top of what we're already running, and if I mess up (which I always do sooner or later) and overshoot, with ozone, that's health issue with humans.. I thought about buying one, and just setting it to low or 1, and leaving it.. But I don't, as you mentioned, want to mess with my skim production, especially running pellets.. What do you think?

Does the Ozone affect your PH?
Doesn't seem to have.
Seems to be hanging steady.

LOL, thanks!
I haven't see any mutant pods yet... but I'll keep an eye out. ;)

I've never run biopellets but I probably wouldn't do anything that would mess with those. They scare me. haha

Lol, why does everybody say that about the pellets? My buddy has always, always said that about them.. I have used them for years successfully.. Never had nitrate over 0.5 since I began using them. But the reactor makes a fundamental difference..

Lol, why does everybody say that about the pellets?

hahaha probably because everybody says that! :D

I always seem to have too low nitrates. Tested yesterday and they're undetectable again. So I never really considered them. Even had LifeReef make me the bio pellet reactor for my previous LifeReef sump and never ended up using it.

Lol, got you.. And I probably honestly don't need mine either.. At least at this point, because I have it only open enough for a trickle of water to go through it and into the skimmer.. It's more of a safe guard, and then, you can't find those RD reactors for sale anymore.. Lol, so I'm holding on to mine for dear life..

lol I haven't even tested mine, but once in the last almost two months.. I'm horrible about nitrate testing.. But my alk and phosphorus, I'm pretty good..
