*d2mini's new 200g Reeftastic Build*

Very nice:) Cebu's are bad potato lighting for sure, and they are easy to install a ReefBrite XHO LED light bar on down the road too if wanted. The fish room looks so good and clean you need to put a couple of blue lab coats hanging on hook's.

Thanks. :)
I have the 60" Cebu over the display so now the frags will get the exact same lighting. No worry about colors changing or anything like that.

Looking damn good Dennis! I'm coming to Houston in August. I would love to come by to meet you and check out your system. Perhaps we could make that happen?

Absolutely.

Lookin good!
Thanks. :)

That looks amazing! What's casting the faint blue light on your floor?
haha, thanks. As salty pointed out, that is sunlight coming through the open door to this room from the open garage door.
The white balance makes the sunlight look more blue since it's a whiter light than the overhead ceiling cans.

New IP camera installed!
Well, kinda. I still have to mount it on the wall. :)

Out with the Dropcam Pro, and in with the Foscam F19826P.
Look at the difference in clarity/resolution.
The dropcam is too wide for me so I'm going to move it to the fish room which really needs a wide angle.
The foscam is not as wide and it has optical zoom, whereas the dropcam has digital zoom and is zoomed in around 50% all the time.

haha, some stuff has actually done pretty well in there. :)
This was when I first set it up.
I should take another pic before I empty it out.

All your macros and gargonians (sp?) are in there too?

The gorgs from my tank, yes.
The refugium with my macros i had torn down earlier and didn't really have any macros left that were worth keeping.

Your holding shots are an inspiration for all of us. I know how much goes into a truly thriving coral reef tank. You have obviously mastered a working system. Good luck with the new setup.

Hi Dennis - I'm using your cube tank as a model for the tank I'm setting up. Your tank(s) is an inspiration to everyone.

I am excited to see how your lifereef sump turns out. Everyone says that Jeff does great work. I looked into a sump by him but ultimately couldn't justify the cost (I have already bought a lot of the equipment that comes with his stuff) so went with a BAO custom sump. Jeff's customer service is second to none...I have spoken with him a number of times throughout the years and will eventually get a sump by him.

Keep up the good work and good luck on this build. I'm subscribing to this thread.

Edit to say Ben's customer service (BAO) has been excellent as well.
