Yeah, I went from a 180 to a nano. Still I am scheming for another big tank.haha, Lost Reefers Anonymous.
I'm always excited about the next build though.
Even though it hurts to think about all the time, energy and money put into this build I know I can take what i've learned and apply it to the next, even if its on a smaller/simpler scale.
Looks like a migraine waiting to happen.
Hey d2 hope you remember me, i am apart of a small forum you are in. Im trying to get back into reefing an only have one question for you. What happened to the Ecotechs? sorry i tried looking through the forums but its mad big. thanks again!
Thanks!wow, that tank and the setup was an inspiration to a lot of people.
good luck with the new home - i'm sure you will be back.
LOL, it's so true. My daughter was giving my mom a complete tour of the tank not long before tearing it down, pointing out what were sponges, what was a coral, my clam, etc. Amazing.Awesome before and after pics of the kids. It's amazing how much knowledge they pick up from our hobby. We were at Sea World(Orlando) a couple of years ago and my daughter was 10 then. We were at the huge reef tank by the Manta ride and they had an education specialist there. A family walked up and a kid asked "What kind of fish is that?" pointing at a wrasse. The education guy said he needed to look it up in his book and my daughter said "That's a 6-line wrasse. They can get mean." lol! Then pointed and named some corals.
In any case, best of luck with your new home and hopefully another beautiful tank when you're settled in.
Thanks!Oh man Dennis, I just saw this and it's a sad day for me as I've enjoyed following your builds in the past. I guess I will have to be patient until you start the new one.
