Just some random pictures of the 105g thats Turning 1 year old in October. Most all grown from frags and way overstocked at the moment prepping for a Fs thread soon to wean out what I don't want.

Still has a long way to go but I'm beginning to be happy with it.. It's a constant color chase that I'm usually losing but it keeps me on my toes =).

Nothing to spectacular yet and Sorry the crappy pictures I don't own a good camera YET so it's all done on my Samsung galaxy S4, some not to bad others not so much =) no editing (although I should learn how to =)

Second from the last was labeled a. Horrida from a wild colony a friend bought that didn't make it in his tank . . I think It's going to be nice, so far it went from brown to a steel blue color w/identical color polyps.

Right on for the kudos =)..

Tank=
The system is a euro braced 105g w/35g truvue customized sump ,Sicce syncra 5 return /herbie, Sicce syncra 1.5 powering 2x mr1 reactors, Vertex omega 150 skimmer, ATI 8x54 powermodule, 2x mp40wes,2xmp10wes,1x jebao wp10 with another mp40&mp10 waiting to go on if needed.
All controlled by reef angel and a few add on modules.

BIG 3= I try for is alk under 8.5 dkh usually (7.8 to 8.2 is normal for me) , calcium is usually about 425 - 450,mag is 1350 and never really drifts.

Nutrients=I don't really chase numbers for nutrients because when I do I have problems.. As long as my nitrates are under 10 and above 3 the tank seems to do good.. P04 avg's (. 07-.11) I run gfo 1.5 cups hc and carbon dose (just switched back to red sea nopox from vinegar) I always have some sort of cyano in the tank but if I keep up on my 2x a month 15g WC's with coralife or Kent it's stays in check with siphoning. It's getting better though since I switched away from vinegar. I get the same results using these salts as I do the more expensive ones only thing I do is adjust the alk to 8 with Muriatic acid.

Supplementing = I use 2 part bionic w/a diy Drews doser

Food= I feed the tank super HEAVY as I always have 3-5 times a day, including new spectrum pellets, flake, homemade pappone like mixture, mysis, nori etc.. That in turn feeds the corals but I also feed oyster feast 3+ times a week along with phyto feast. I started it months ago when my nutrients got to low and I was having more issues with color than normal and just never stopped..

Temp is 79-80 and is steady as I live on the coast and it's pretty mellow weather wise here.. Lights are on a total of 11 hours and I run all ATI bulbs but am giving geisemann's new line up a try to give some feedback to a vendor..

I think that's about it if I missed anything of interest let me know. And thanks again for the compliments it makes it that much funner for me with positive remarks. Now if I just have get a better camera to show the detail I see looking into it. I'm just going to tell the wife it's for family events

I have to say this is one of the things that I have seen help my tanks a lot. Dropping Alk before the water change in the new water really helps keep the tank stable and makes it so doseing doesnt get out of wack.
