my false perc jumped to her death last night. I've never heard of percs being jumpers, unfortuantly she apparently wanted to see what life was like behind the stand....not a good one.

My question, my percs had paired with the jumper being the larger and the female. Can I simply pic of a similar sized perc in hopes the male won't know the difference?

HI Josh, sorry to hear about your clown, I to lost my beautiful true perk female a few weeks ago.
I waited until last week to get another but could not get a large one so I had them ship me the smallest they had.
Perfect. The male that was left has now taken the female role altho I am sure he is not female yet, and the little one is submissive to him/her.
So depening on the size of your male and what size you can get to replace the jumper you should be able to get it a mate.
If your male is over 2 inches I would let it turn female and get a very small clown for the male.

i had 2 ocellaris jump from my tank, one died the other woke me up and i managed to save him.... never slept well after that every splash made me jump up and turn the lamp on!!!!!
