Debating whether or not to get a vortex powerhead

I understand the random flow you get is better, but if this powerhead was $250 a piece, I'd buy it, I just don't justify spending $400 on something that moves water. jmo though. you all make great points! I hope this is helping the OP decide

I bought mines brand new for $300 and forget what the actual retail price is. So ya, if I didn't get a stellar deal on mines I might not have ended up with one. LOL

I recently put an MP-10 in my 36 bow. Now that I've tried the Vortech, I doubt I'll use anything else in the future. I'm planning on a full eco-smart setup when I convert my 90 gallon to reef.

If you can swing it, get the Vortech(s) and don't look back.
