Awesome tank and build sir. I noticed that you used to have ATI t-5 system. How do you like it versus the Radions for growth and color? I'm currently using the xr15 but have seriously contemplating on getting the ATI fixture but just can't take the plunge on it yet as love the pop of my lps under the blues at night and don't think I can live without the shimmer. Thanks for any input you can give me on this.

The colors on your tank look amazing with the radions, if I had one I would be asking you ALOT of questions, look forward to following your thread as your tank fills in.

The contrast of purple and green is fantastic on the bonsai.

I bought my box locally.. Somebody's got to have one in a shop..
I think I might have to buy a new one. The bottom of mine is all scratched up from my lens running against it...

As for the top down box. I just made one that works very well. It ain't pretty, but it works very well. I'll post pics of it, I have a lot more eye candy to post.

To be honest I loved my ATI PM. But it was big and expensive to run and maintain. Results were great. Both growth and colour. Going to the Radion I was skeptical as I've run leds in frag tanks without success(AI sol blue and DIY)
The Radions g3 pro are incredible. Both growth and colour. I was really worried about both, but I think my colour is actually better then that of the t5. More pop. But more shading obviously. Will I need more fixture when everything grows in, maybe, but only time will tell. Just wait until I post some top down photos

Thanks man, as mentioned above, Radion are very capable of growing colourful sps! It took me a year to figure it out, there is a learning curve.

Wow. Colors are better than T5? That's a relief to hear. You're still running the Xr15pro right? Maybe I'll give mine a little more time. What are your settings on individual color channels for best color and growth and what is the majority of schedule run on?

For me i do like the colours better than t5. The "pop" os way better.
But I still love my t5's

Top down photos!

So I've been looking online for a top down box and just gave up. So I made my own. MAde a trip to the HD and grabbed a 4" pvc coupling. Cut a piece of plexiglass and weld-on 16 it! It anti pretty but she works pretty well. You guys be the judge. Cost me about 2 bucks

Experiencing a small problem with Sps blisters!

Well as I mentioned, Im having a few pieces of sps form blister or bubbles. The tissue expands and causes it to inflate like lps corals but on a smaller scale.
Ive seen it before in my earlier days. What concerns me now is that the bubbles will form, and the next day the bubble will be gone(burst) and leaving the skeleton exposed. No major deaths but it concerns me as I might have something going on in the tank.

parameters are

Alk 7.3-7.7
cal 410-430
Mg 1400

Any ideas? I've googled searched and I haven't found a sound answer as of yet.
Any help would be appreciated.
