DFason's 35g Shallow SPS Build

correct. I started with 10 now I have 7. Some of the coolest fish I have had. I am thinking of getting another 10.

I wish I could take better pictures. These colors just POP. Now its time to wait a few months and let these guys grow out. I just ordered the acrylic for the new smaller sump. After that I am going to get everything hard plumbed. My H&S has been kicking into overdrive and pulling some of the most gnarly stuff out.

How's the light working?

How's the light working?

Is that a 4x24W light fixture I see?

I'm thinking of using that same fixture for a similar size 30x12x12 SPS aquarium. How's it working out? I'm worried that it won't be enough light...

Thanks,

Bob

I think its plenty. I have already seen a big difference in my Red Planet and Purple Monster starting to change!

didn't realize you had two threads going.

I've been reading around on that lately and it looks like you have it right. 2 blue bulbs on the outside and the 2 daylight bulbs in the middle. Is there a big color difference between the 75/25 and the aquasun?

What's your dawn/dusk bulbs?

Dusk/Dawn is 75/25 and a blue plus.

ATI AquaBlue
Blue +
75/25

I love it! Thanks for all compliments guys! All the new corals look like they are taking it really well too.

Here's a few pictures. Not to good but should work for the time being. I hope to have someone over with a nice camera so I can get some nice pictures. Everything is looking so good and I wish I could show! I have finally glued my plumbing down so no more random micro bubbles. I am going to have my tank in the dark for a couple days to try that out....

My pictures really dont due justice for some of the colors.... The pearlberry is SUPER purple with a whitish base. The sestosa is glowing and my PM is starting to come around. I dont plan on adding much more besides an encrusting monti, Tyree Pink WM and some dendro under my little cave.

My next two upgrades are going to be an MP10 and a I-Tech 100. Hopefully these will be sooner than later. I feel like I need to skim more and I really want to simplify my sump and add a powerhead down there.

Shoot any Q's if you have them!

Your tank keeps looking better and better every time I see it.

Looks like a Picasso Clownfish, right? Haven't seen to many. In any case he's a cute little bugger.

Great looking tank. I will be starting my tank up after a 2 year house building break (built my own).

I need to replace my t5 bulbs and have a question about your set-up. Do you run

AquaBlue
Blue +
75/25
AquaBlue

???

What are the brands of Blue + and 75/25?

thanks a bunch.

Do you have the exact name of the cardinal fish? I have been looking for small fish for my nano.

By the way nice looking tank and a cool selection of corals!
