DFason's 35g Shallow SPS Build

I traded one of my pink polyp caps, small frag of WM, Setosa for two new MP10's!!! :D You can normally find GDM's for around 125-150 shipped these days. You should pick one up. They have amazing personality and a blast to show people when you have them over.

your tank is awesome....I am about to pull the trigger on a 30x24x20 rimless. your tank is an inspiration..

Can I see your sump area?

Thanks guys!

epeeds - Its pretty basic. I am working on a new sump along with my own Ozone reactor too. So things will change in the next month or so. Anyways here's the current shot, simple yet so effective :)

Sorry I have not updated the thread in some time. I will have the PAR tests after this weekend and will have some other cool stuff on the way. I will be putting two Nano Box Uni-bodies over this tank along with the Ryujin controller driving it. I have new LED's that have created an amazing look over the corals.

I've had the tank set up for a year and a half now and through the ups and downs I think I have my tank right where I want it. I will be adding Tyree 20K Lokinia, Carls Candlelight, Pink Lemonade, Strawberry table acro, Meteor shower to the tank after I remove the cap on the right. The cap is now 8-9" across and 4-5" deep. The growth has been insane the past few weeks with stable parameters, frequent feedings and killer skimming. I will be adding a MP10 to the right side and using it as a "wavemaker" too. Today I am adding 4 large Berghia nudi's to take out my aptasia. I'm really looking forward to see what these little guys can do.

Here are some pictures I was able to snap today.

I honestly have not had much time. I have sand and dry rock going until I have time to link them all together.

Thanks Mike!

Had to snap some photo's. Nothing new on the tank besides finding the cure for flatworms. I've been trying to eliminate them but its taking some time. I've been a trading maniac and in the past two weeks I've picked up...
  • PPE
  • Captain America
  • Purple Deaths
  • Bryans Babys Watermelon
  • Desert Sunset
  • Purple Urkle

Backside of Setosa. This thing is HUGE!

Your tank looks stellar! You're doing all the right things!

I'm very impressed by your setosa! You could probably supply your whole reef club with frags of that thing.

Thanks guys! The Setosa is getting massive for the tank, 5"x5". The war coral is around 5"x6", I have to kill part of it each water change.
