DFS McCulloch's Clownfish

How do you determine monetary worthiness of these?

Whatever people are willing to pay. Someone values the fish more than the cash. DFS values the cash more than the fish. That is free market economics in a nutshell...err......clamshell. At price x, there will be y buyers. As x changes, y changes. Looking forward to pics.

After seeing both sides of the industry and knowing what these fish sell for wholesale 6,000 for a pair is a bit high.I will not tell what they sell for wholesale but I will say its quite a bit cheaper. As said before Mom and Pop will price these fish to what people will pay.So first they start out at 10,000 a pair.If they dont sell at that price they lower the pirce to lets say 8,000.If they dont sell then they go to 6,000.If not then 4,000.But if this was relistic there would always be someone who has a little bit more money and a little less since. Now if they were to only be sold to fish breeders that would be a diffirent story.......:hmm2:

are you guys serious?

I was thinking they might be aroud $3,4,5,6 but never would imagine in the 4digits.

way too rich for average, middle class, hard labor working people like me.

The single Drs. F&S fish is $599.99

I think that this is a very fair price for this fish, and if I was a clownfish person I would have already ordered it.

These aint your average run of the mill clownfish! They are extremely rare and was almost impossible to get them here in the U.S.!

I am not really sure why so many in this thread are/were bashing LA for the pricing of these fish. There is not a company other than LA that I would buy a fish o this caliber from>
