What would make these things make a very loud humming/vibrating noise?

you shouldn't have a noisy pump, unless you glued something correctly or the shroud from the mod doesn't fit onto the maxi correctly.

well, since theres no GB deal, I ordered one so we'll see how it goes soon! I need to look into the holders for them now...magnets are probably the way to go...anyone have any specific suggestions?

You're support brace is off center. its the only crucial part of the mod is making sure the shaft is directly centered. Fixing this will correct any vibration issues that you are having.

Hopefully Dennis will be able to shake free from the bonds of working long enough to set up a group purchase. If not then someone else will take over and get things going.

I see a list of people wanting to buy the mod but I don't see which mod each person wants. Does everyone want the high flow mod?

Maybe you should restate how many and of which mod you are interested in buying and go from there.

Payment will be necessary when the order is placed. How does everyone want to handle paying for their item(s)? You can send payment via Paypal but doing so will cost an additional 3%.

Looks like the cheapest price available would be about $21.25 each plus shipping. Shipping can't be determined for sure until the number of units is known but I would suspect it will work out to about $1.00 or less each.

is what i have in my 75 and that is all i am using, just one of these is enough for a 75 in my opinion. i have it in the back right corner of the tank pointed at the surface it circulates the entire tank and provides ample surface agitation.
