do tentacles grow out of tentacles?

ok I am not sure this pic does it justice, but the tentacles on my anemone appear to be growing out nubs and it looks like the tentacles are growing tentacles? is this normal? you can see the new nubs on many of the tentacles-not sure what to make of it. has anyone seen this before..

It's fairly common on H.magnifica tentacles. Sometimes on E.quadricolour. Possibly others as well.

Ive seen it in lta's, bta's, and condys. Its fairly common and as far as I know there is nothing wrong with it
