Do you want to be owed a favor? Are you ready to start that workout plan?

Then plan on joining me on September 9th for a good old tank move!! This is the perfect opportunity to start flexing those muscles and build strength for the coming months. The move is from Wildwood to Ballwin and the tank isnt even 8ft long (although it is 4 ft wide). Now sure, the basement its coming out of isnt a walkout, but who would want that? We like challenges, right?

If you are available to assist please let me know either here or via pm. I think we are in need of 6 more people. Roy, if you could get the trailer lined up for then that would be great. Figure an afternoon move will advise time.

Thanks in advance!

I think Roy's going to need to be onhand to offer adjustments after everybody gets done moving the tank down a flight of stairs! If I were closer to you I'd help, but it'd be about 2 hours one way...sorry :(

Yes going upstairs is worse.. I remember this one time last week... OMG But we did it.

I'm not sure what is going on that day. But as time gets closer I will let you know if I can help. Let me know when you have a good time for the move. Saturdays are really hard for me now that 2 of my kids are in soccer.

If I am in town I am down with it. :D I need that free adjustment too, but I adjust so easily Roy could do it in the parking lot. lol

Would a refridgerator dolly help? I thinkI have one in my garage...

I will be out of town for a wedding, but you guys are more then welcome to borrow it.

Thanks everyone. I know its kinda far off but then it seems like its not far off at all!!

I don't think I am going to be able to have the construction done before then so I think we will just cut a hole in the wall that day to get it in the room its going in.

Again, any and all help will be appreciated. The Tank is very bulky and weighs approx 500-600 lbs with the steel stand pushing 400-500.

My plan is blanket and plastic wrap the tank with moving pads, then strap it on a refrigerator dolly with stair creepers (treads made for walking up stairs). The only real difficult parts I think will be getting it onto the stairs at Georges house and getting it off the stand and back on the stand.

Thanks again!
