Here are a couple more pics of my grade B Picasso's from Doni's Reef. I've had them now for about a month and the one that had trouble finding the food has finally out grown that problem. They have physically grown, they are now about one inch and they have deepened in color; the orange in them is now a brilliant orange. Also the black bands are starting to develop. These guys are spectacular and if they live to maturity will be a sight to behold.

I'd have to see a pair in a store to buy. Some of them I really like, and some not so much. I'm not fond of the ones that look like they took an acid bath or something. Is that something you can tell when they are young?

On donisreef she has vid of each clown you can see b4 purchase.
Pretty much design is there already, but gets darker w/ age.

I have bought several times from Doni's Reef and am very satisfied with the Picasso's. My suggestion is to take your time. She is always putting up new Picasso's so wait until you see something you really, really like before you buy. The only warning I have is Doni's fish are VERY small. So small, you will need sponge prefilters over ALL of your intakes. So be prepared for very small fry when you order.

+1 to the small juvi, nice fish & wait until you see a pair that you like (don't jump on the first pair you see)...

Picasso Grade B

Picasso Grade B

I needed a little larger Picasso for my 2.25 inch Percula so I bought this 1.5 inch single grade B Picasso from Doni's Reef. I had it a couple of months and already the black is starting to fill in.

i have been eyeing that site for a little while now, im sure ill be ordering a pair of them in the near future

They are small, but don't think they are small enough to be called fry, at least not my exp.
I've seen them this size in LFS many times.
Calling them fry may give impression you're getting just outa the egg.
I did nothing special for mine.
I do admit feeling like they were precious lil gems, but mine swam around tank and past my vortech(tuned down a bit) w/ no probs.

If you go look now her grade A's look like b's, and what her old A's looked like she has labeled snowcasso

+1 ILLiDaN, I just looked at her site and I agree. Her criteria for grade As is that "A's have additional white with one of the three stripes connecting on BOTH sides of the fish." Yet on one of the fish she currently has up as an A, it does not have any strips connecting on either side of the fish and the other has only one strip connecting on one side; by her own definition, these should be "B" grade fish.
