FWIW it looks like a Haddon's to me.

Looks nothing like a Haddoni to me. Tentacles are too long and not to mention the price is way to high to be a Haddoni. Also the color is to bright to be a Haddoni. JMO.

Absolutely not haddoni. gary i highly respect your opinion and input on this forum but what makes you say that it does not appear to be gigantea? There really is nothing you can confuse it with. I have never seen a haddoni with long tentacles like a gigantea having seen thousands.

55semireef: Price has nothing to do with identification, i see blue haddoni's go for that much or more quite often. Color is not too bright to be a haddoni. There are brightly colored haddoni. The long tentacles are what gives the id of this anemone away.

I've seen Haddon's anemones with long wiggling tentacles (I had one). Anemones can shange their physical shape. Newly imported or stressed carpet anemones are especially prone to change their shape. It would be nice if they showed the verrucae of that anemone along with some other pictures of it.

I am interested in that Pink Carpet to the side of the blue one (Dr. Mac's photo, not Gary's).
IMO, this look like a newly import Gigantea. It has too may folds and the tentacles is too long to be a newly imported Haddoni. It it is in Gary's tank for a year, that lucky___, I can see the tentacles to be much longer.
Anybody see that pink carpet I saw?

I think that's actually a portion of the purple gigantea that Dr. Mac had on his site last week. In fact, last week he had 2 blues and 1 purple for sale. Too pricey IMO for such a poor shipper.
