DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Hi chingchai,

Thank's for your kindness to share some lovely photos.

Can you tell me what's the materia of your old tank's stand?

stainless steel + wood ? :eek1:

Best regards
Ben

This is without a doubt the SICKEST most intricate, detailed build I've ever seen. I'm truly humbled by your effort. This is just CRAZY from the HUGE Bubble King to the bank of Tunze Waveboxes etc etc etc!!!!

Awesome in the truest sense of the word!

These probes are from Profilux.
http://www.aquariumcomputer.com/Sys.../ProfiLux_Plus_II_eX/profilux_plus_ii_ex.html
they consist of:
- temperature probe
- ph probe
- orp probe
- conductivity probe
that is very nice i know you did a lot of research before getting it!
i have the neptune apex with temp, ph probe only and i am thinking of getting a orp but i need to read more about ozone. a lot of people rave about the apex but i have a love and hate relationship with it.

Love reviewing this build every day. Such an amazing undertaking, but done with such attention to detail. Will be absolutely amazing once fully stocked. Keep up the great work!

You are right. My old tank's stand is made of wood and cover the top with stainless steel.

Thanks.
If you have time, just let me know.

Sounds good! i'll be staying in BKK for about 5or6 days :)

hey, awsome tank. i just thought i should let you know you shouldnt hang the probes by the lead. its a real quick way to destroy them and is really bad when you have them hooked on to a controller. use/make a probe holder.

Hello ChingChai

I live in Viet Nam and am in the process of a new build. I don't have the space for such an ambitious project as yours. Truely fabulous! (Well I have the space, it's called my house! LOL) I was in Thailand last month only an hour flight from TPHCM. I am finding it difficult to get stuff here, pity I didn't know about Siam Reef Society then. Could you please provide links/info on where you get lighting, skimmers etc.. I have heard you mention Reef Depot in Singapore. Furthemore, I am interested in your lighting, what lamps are you using? Very natural in comparison to the over blue normally found! are these Geisemann lamps? My tank will be about a metre deep so I would liketo get something similiar.

Great job and warmest regards,

Neil
I am HCM too, cant stand to see your new monster in person...

Gotta be reawarding and big deep breath of relief getting that water in there. Looking great! If I may ask why is everybody barefoot in all pictures?

Well, good question.
The answer is we don't want to mess the floor.
Only when everything is finished, then no need to take off shoes anymore.:D
