DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

Hey Chingchai :) So sorry about the flooding and political instability. You are a master reefer and don't you forget it. Never let life get you down. When life pushes you down, you get back up and press on! Looking forward to future updates from your tanks. Happy New Year!!!

marrc007. Thank you for your kind words.
Just to clarify, tank is still up and running.
But I don't have time, energy and motivation yet.
It is almost a month that I never sit and relax in front of my tank.
However, my fish guy can maintain and do daily rountine.

I am planning to do some minor change of my corals and aquascape next week.
I will keep you guys updated.

Happy New Year to you too.
All the best.

Hey Ching, wondering what settings you have your GoPro set to?.... my exposure goes nuts depending on where the camera is located. I have mine set to spot metering to try and get the best exposure(or WB ) but still cant get a decent video for the life of me.... Ever since you gave me the tip on using software to steady the video, i wanted to shoot one but it does not show true color, least not as good as yours! do you happen to use filters?

Thank you Ching in Advance.

Ching, the time and dedication you put into this project speaks for itself. The time and dedication you've devoted to showing and educating others in the hobby also speaks volumes of your character. I'm very sure your aquarium will come back better than before, and you will continue to inspire others to try and follow your model !! Best wishes.

I don't use filter. And setting is at default mode.

Reefnut2010. Thank you for your encouragement.
I will try my best.

I haven't been around these boards very long... I was enticed in because a friend gave me a very small 30 gallon fish tank as a gift. It took me a year to decide I wanted to try Salt Water and I had all the people at the fish store helping me. We are on a first name basis actually.

The thing is when I want to do something I eventually get very involved in it, wanting to know the why's and what's. I came to Reef Central for some help and just to learn. When I came across your thread I started reading it like a good novel, a novel with amazing pictures. Then when I got towards the end you linked Peter's thread which I have now read in full as well.

I feel like I am getting my PhD in reefing from these threads. Thank you so much for taking the time to document what you have and for sharing with us.

You have made this girl even more obsessed than I was bound to be. I even have gotten permission from my better half to upgrade to a 125 gallon this year some time. It's going to take me quite a few months just to save to get things, I'll probably do it one a time, but again thank you so much for opening my eyes that you can literally have a piece of the Ocean in your home.

Much Love,
Alex
