I believe you would be better served running T5's than the VHO chingchai. You already have ballasts that will accept either. It wouldn't be that expensive to swap the T5's out for VHO if you decide you don't like them. T5's are much much brighter than VHO regardless of wattage.

This article by Dana Riddle has a comment about T5 vs T12, and he is testing further to really see the difference. It still comes down to reflectors though to get all the PAR from the lamp to the tank.
I am very curious as well. UVL actinic VHOs on IC660s have always been the best, IMO.
Chingchai, Amazing progress. I like how there is refrigerant gauges hard plumbed in the system. A very good tool to have.
