i also notice the 4way coupler the top where the blue hose is attached i can see right through but the bottom half where the red hose is attached i cant see through.

First off, you are missing a couple of "Y"'s and another "Valve" on the output of the first membrane.

You need to "Y" the output of the first membrane to go to the input of the second membrane, or waste water (this is where your second "Y" and "Valve" will go).

Doing the above allows you to flush the first membrane, otherwise, with your current connections, you will never do that.

I run my booster pump before the second pre-filter/charcoal canister/coconut charcoal canister (Chloramine)/membrane. Works beautiful. Here is my setup.

ty good sir i'll be adding a open n close valve along with a splitter. how often do u recommend to flush?

If your ordering fittings...you could throw in a check valve and another bypass on your carbon output. That will make changing and flushing your new sediment and carbon filters easy.

I'm not sure I agree with this. You only need a single flush valve if the membranes are in series and the valve is on the 2nd membrane. The same water flushes both membranes equally.

I do the same, these pumps pulse and having at least one canister between the pump and the membrane smooths it out.

I was reading that as well for flushing... As long as they're in series the last membrane should have the flush valve and it should be good enough to flush both at the same time.
I do see the other theory working as well.

BUT which one is the best?:hmm6:
