Updated Photos after 4 months...
Below are a few shots that I took today with my phone of the tank in its current state. Everything is doing very well and I am extremely pleased with the system. I'm just waiting for everything to fill in and it is on its way. Thank for following.

Thanks! No I just purchased an Eshopps RS 200 sump because getting a custom sump was going to take too long and I was impatient. I returned the tunzes shortly after receiving them and went back to Vortech. I am much happier with them.

Skimmer Update!
I just wanted to give a little update on my RLSS R6i skimmer that I recently purchased and I ditched the Vertex Omega. I absolutely love the RLSS skimmer. It works extremely well and is dead silent. It is a much more balanced skimmer than the Vertex and IMO, the best skimmer on the market at its price point. I've owned many different skimmers including Deltec, Vertex, Skimz, Bubble King, Reef Octopus, LifeReef, and others and it is not the "thickest" acrylic work, but it is as good a performer than any other I've owned. Below is a shot of the skimmer after about 4 days of use.

The vertex alpha is a whole different skimmer then the omega line.

The Alpha 170 is definitely a different beast than what I had with the Omega. I'm sure you will be pleased.
I like it ok. I'm not in love with it, but its functional. That's definitely the part I'm most excited about. Thanks for checking it out.

Damn that's some nice nog for how young that skimmer is. I'm thoroughly impressed. And with the soft start I bet the pump will last a few years. Man I'm torn between the r6 and cone 2 aquamaxx. It might come down to space honestly.

Thanks for the compliments. I love the tank but it is soon to be taken down after only a few months being up. With my hectic work schedule, I don't have the time I want to devote to the aquarium so I have sold the aquarium and will be setting up a nano with an Ecotech Radion. Will post the build thread once I start it.
