the reason I changed is because (This being my belief) That my BK 250 was WAY WAY too big for my 120g which after LR and stuff is only 100g system. So it wasnt performing like it did on my old tank which was alot bigger. So I decided to try the KZ since I was one of the original zeo users when it first came out. I knew there products worked well so I figured there skimmer must be very good and it is

Good to read that you are also happy with your skimmer. Are you still a zeo user ?

Hi Eric,

Thanks !

Which part of the skimmer would you like to see ?

P.S. Sorry I can't show you the secret part. I must wait with that until it is patented   :smokin:

Time for an update.

I am still very happy with my KZ skimmer.

I had a bad spell of cyano but this was due to my RO water. I installed an extra resin filter behind the RO unit and the cyano is clearing up after 10 days.

I am using Sponge power of Korallen Zucht and growth is really accelerating. I had to put the calcium reactor into overdrive. Alk and Ca is being used much faster.

It's that i live nearby, but if i had to book a room in this hotel i wouldn't leave: sitting in front of the tank the whole day to watch and dream!
Greetings,
Paul

The tank continues to look great! I didn't notice any of your P. tuka or P. evansi in the latest photos. Have you lost them? Also, does your flame angel nip at any of the clams or LPS? Thanks.

Hi Paul ! thank you ! I bet I will see you soon !

Hi Chooch1, thank you. The P. tuka en P. evansi have died when my chromis veridis started chasing and killing each other. I had 15 chromis, now there are 3 left. I think the stress caused by the fighting damsels resultet in the anthias death.
I have not yet seen the flame angel nip at the tridacna or LPS.

jwre, every time you post pic's it makes me want to plan a trip to Holland just to see this thing up close.

PLEASE STOP!!! :) j/k keep them coming.

Are you still dosing living Phyto and brine shrimp?
Have you seen any benefit from it?

Hi Mr. Biggs !

My live Phyto culture just crashed. I started a new one a week ago so no live Phyto for the tank for a little while longer. I have seen no difference in the system. The brine shrimp, the oyster eggs and cyclop eeze are still being dosed a couple of times a week when lights are off. Just before that I put 10 drops of amino acid mixed with KZ Coral snow and KZ coral vitalizer so the coral polyps are wide open.

J I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you try out spongepower

Hi tanya72806 ! I am crazy about that stuff ! I have never had such fast growth. My calcium reactor can hardly keep up with the demand. ( and it is a big reactor ) Very good for clams too.
I have been dosing 4ml twice a week for 2 months now.

do you use it too ?
