with that many fishes,,how do you keep nitrate down .,,i have a hard time to bring it down to under 20

I also had high nitrate until I switched to Zeovit. It is a slow process but now after a year and a half I am happy with what it is doing to the system.

No it is a good system to reduce nutrients in you aquarium.
