dvanacker's 200g SPS tank......

Thank you, thank you , thank you all for such nice comments.
ah ok, It said on page one you were using them, apologies.
Are you still using the pellets for nutrient control? if so how do you find them?
The pellets work great for an SPS tank....I wouldnt use them on a LPS or softie tank...perhaps a little too aggressive.

What other fish do you have besides the tangs in the pics? I dont think 5 of the smaller anthias would crowd it something like dispar, nice coloration, easy to keep and dont grow to big and add movement to the tank.
I am suprised no TOTM, this is my fav tank on here ATM, good job.
Thanks Ryan. Im gonna think about those anthias.....

The colors are amazing. I have some of the same corals and mine look pail, brown, and colorless in comparison... I am told it is because I run an ULNS. What are your nitrates at and do you dose anything? It may have already been asked so I apologize.
I havent tested nitrate in almost 2yrs I bet....I need a new kit. It was .2ppm when I did test. Im using bio-pellets but not really dosing anything other than alk,ca and mg.

Like I mentioned in your thread I try to keep my DKH around 8.

Favias are really cool......some seem to grow really slow to non-existent though. The progated ones vs. wild are probably a better bet in that department. I know my frags of baby's breath and war and peace are both stunners and seem to be good growers for favia/favites. I would suggest those two.

Here are some more new pics....

Thanks Mike.......it would be hard to beat your new tank. In seriousness I agreed to 5yrs minimum with this tank (with the wife) so 2yrs left before I can even think of what I want to do.

Some more pics me thinks?

Cant remember if I shared this picture already.

Start covert planning now. I started slowly hoarding equipment 12 months before the tank showed up. Easier on the budget too!
