One of the benifits of being single is I get to buy all my own christmas presents!!!!!!!

And why wait till Christmas? The stores won't be open that day to buy all the things I want anyway.

Also got a huge sixline wrasse, a dozen small bluegreen reef chromis, yellow tang, perc clown & two heads (really four) of some great looking green with pink tip frog spawn.

And some supplies, salt, GFO, MG, Ca, Lignite Carbon and soda ash.

Any other early christmas people?

Thanks guys.

My focus now is to let my tank sit and mature. It needs lots of patience to grow and stabilize. I want to focus on SPS coloration and environment control.

I am also working on spawn events. I have a Tunze moon LED that simulates the moon cycle and starts the cycle with a bright full moon and continues to dim according to moon phases.

I've already have trochus snail's spawn but my goal is getting the SPS to spawn.

Ah yes.

Dang Cham that burgandy colored linkia is out of this world looking.

While I'm not single December is just a horrible month because we have our wedding anniversary 3 days before my birthday a week before Christmas then my dad's birthday is the day after Christmas. Boy do I catch it from my mom. "Why did you have to get married so close to your birthday what am I supposed to get you 3 different gifts now?" lol. She really likes to pick on me sometimes.

So our compromise is to go out shopping together. I just did a great round of mall shopping and last week brought home a little black oscellaris clown to hopefully pair up with a misbarred orange perc. They will be so cute and funny looking together

I just purchased a My Reef Creations MR-1. Its used but new to me. To me, From me gifts rule.

I just did a big tank cleaning yesterday so maybe today I can get some good shots. The great news is the other pair I was trying to make is finally happening! I have a juvenile clarkii starting to actually host in the anemone of my latezonatus. They are quite the pair. I'll see if I can get some good pics today!

My biggest drool was the salt. Ahh not to go to the store and lug salt all the time. You did it all in one shoot.
I haven't tried Reef Crystals in a while do you mind testing it on your next water change and give us the peram's like Cal,Alk,Mag,Sacific Grav,ect?

I've used 4 buckets so far this year. I did have one batch come in a little low but RC seems to have corrected the issue since.

My last test was:

SG 1.026 (35ppt)
Ca- 440
Alk- 10
Mg- 1340


Where I buy the salt its within a few dollars of IO so its worth it. I have about 18 months worth now.
