Eels at LFS

So here are some eels I saw at my LFS. Sorry crappy droid pics.
Just a cool tessalata.

Cool dragon eel does anyone know what type? I think he is japanese.

labeled as a hawain dragon eel and there charging 2500 for him.Which seems realy expensive but maybe thats what they cost. Is it a hawaiin?

You cant tell where a dragon came from just by color. That is an insane amount for a dragon and one heck of a mark up, lol. They sell for about a $ 1,100.00 here when a store trys to sell one.

For the most part you cant tell. You can have really nice brightly colored looking eels alongside drab colored ones. Some thought and still think it was related to sex but this has not been proven.

Can a brazalian dragon be both bright and dull? Are bright ones more expencive?thanks

Brazilian dragons are different. They are called dragons like the dragon moray above but are more closely related to the West African ones M. melanotis.
As far as color I have not seen as large a variation in color with Brazillians.

I think he meant they had one. I saw one a couple weeks ago. There not that rare, just more of a specialty fish like many of the morays are so a lot of places dont stock them.
