Thanks Jeremy!

Hopefully all of my planning comes together, and I can get this build finished soon. My wife is getting really tired of the 100g Rubbermaid tub in our guest bedroom!

so in the pic is your frag tank lit by leds? how has the growth been with the leds ? im looking into getting some for my tank just need to know if its worth it . i have gotten mixed reviews about growth with leds .

No in that picture there are no LEDs being used. Only T5's.
The LED fixture is a DIY and I am in the process of making it right now. Just got my 2-channel dimming cord for the Apex. Sorry I can't help with growth rates.

Edit: You can't see it, but there is a sump behind the rubbermaid that ties the two tanks together.

Mike- Yea I wanted as much sump room as possible. Thanks man!

I am still in a debate what to "skin" the stand with. I really don't want the average wood aquarium stand. I would really like to do something with tile, granite, or even stack stone. I just don't want it to come out like an outdoor BBQ or somethin... haha:p

Thanks Tanu! :D

What's the little box area under the stand above the sump? Is that the electrical area you mentioned?

Yes that was the original plan, but I'm not sure I will go that route. I am debating building an external small cabinet for all of the "dry" goods. Doser, controllers, power center, supplements, etc...

Looks good
very promising
Thanks, much appreciated.

Nicee how'd it turn out with the extra bag of sand? Enough?

Yea man, the one extra bag was enough. There is actually a pretty good amount of sand in the display now. I was debating going BB, but just was not 100% confident I would like the look. Im lovin the seafloor special grade sand. Thanks again bro.
