Enough flow in new 50 gallon?

I'm upgrading from my 40 breeder to a 50 gallon reef ready with the same foot print. The new tank will be bare bottom, and I was wondering if you guys thought this was enough flow in a tank with all sps, and maybe 4 lps:

- 2 x Tunze nanostream 6045
- 2 x Tunze nanostream 6025

Also any suggestions as to placement around the tank?

I think you would be fine with that setup. You'd be able to supply varying types of flow/flow speeds with those 4 pumps. As things progress, you can always swap a 6025 for another 6045 or 6055, if you want to pay for the control.

If this tank will be setup with a 36" side as the front viewing panel (i.e. not a peninsula), I'd start by positioning you 6045's on opposing sides to give you some good, turbulent flow. Then, you can use the 6025's to fill in the gaps, trying to eliminate possible dead spots.

Awesome thanks. That's sorta the layout I was thinking and it's what I'm doing now in my breeder, just with 2 koralia nanos and the two 6025's. Stupid sand bed...lol
