enticing a copperband to eat

so i know the perfect food would be live blackworms, unfortunately i dont have any and there isnt anywhere local that i can get them from. is there anything else that would be a good alternative? so far i've tried PE mysis, bloodworms, spirulina brine,and cyclopeeze. not really touching anything yet though. been in the tank only 2 days though as well.

Second best choice would be fresh clams on the half shell. Third, might be Nutramar Ova.

Do you have any freshwater fish stores around you? Many of them carry live bloodworms.

i did forget to put in that i bought a bag of frozen mussels from a LFS and tried those, no interest at all. would fresh clams be a better choice or yield the same results? unfortunately no, i dont have any freshwater stores nearby other than petco/petsmart

The first frozen food my copperband took was Hikari Spirulina Brine. After that I started mixing Hikari Mysis in with it and it took them no problem. Finally switched fully over to Mysis. Then it started eating my clams and I sold her

Steamer clams and fresh squid. Hand feed them as the other fish will get it otherwise. Mine has lived on that for over six years now. He grazes to but mostly the Squid. Video of feeding frenzy if you wanna see it.

Same here fist frozen mine ate was spirulina brine...

I always had good luck with Rod's Reef Food. It's a frozen blend of mysis, squid, oyster eggs and fresh algaes.
