Erics Red Stag

I bought this "Eric's Red Stag" from Atlantis quite a long time ago. I had a tank crash that made it recede from base up, nearly to the tips last January. I believe my tank was going through some cycle for 6 months after the crash (GFI Trip) since mu SPS started doing much better around August 2010.

Does anyone else have one?

I got mine from Eric a lil over 3 years. 6 month ago almost lost whole colonie due to my stupidity of trying bio-pellets almost killed my tank....

i haven't been a huge fan of stags, but this is one of the few that caught my attention

wow thats a really nice red, not many red sps to choose from, hows the growth rate on it? Is it faster than a red planet?

the growth rate is somewhere medium, all depends on water chemestry and other params. when i make frags it take some time to encrushed and start some growth. i keep my colonie high up under radiums 400w bulbs.

Hey Bill,

I agree with you, but I would like to see a top down shot of MSHUR's to be certain. If you look at Atlantis's website neither of ours really look like theirs (ofcourse), but I like it none the less.

Growth has been slow for me but my tank has had some issues since I have had it, so its hard to judge for me. Mine is half way down in my 90 under 6xT5s

I hope eric will chim im in here, to cleat it up a little. But i saw his colonie long time ago and it was the same growth pater as mine--Stag. Yours looks more like a table, but looks awsome. Wanna trade?
