Thanks for the encouragement Hawaiiwargod, and Miester for posting the pictures. These are picturs of different stages of growth.
It is a very good week for my tank. I reveived a call from Gary at the Captiveocean.com. Gary has got the new DC pump for my tank(thank you Klus) so now the unsighly cables and PVC tubes can be removed. This should improve the circulation and aquascaping.

Gary is a great person! Glad he is taking care of you. Let us know how the DC pump turns out for you.
Gary's second to none w/ customer service IMO. can't wait to see this pump.

We all take a shower before we get in to the tank, except David. We have not been able get him to do that.

It's great to see this tank go from the planning stages to a reality. I still remember back when you guys were getting all the equipment to set it up. LOOKS GREAT!! You should be proud.

Shutin, Even though it's probably my favorite coral, I don't have pics of my elegance unfortunately. It is the SLOWEST growing coral I've ever owned. Even slower than blasto wellsi.
That is awesome that you were able to find a healthy one! How are you propagating it? Cutting them or is the mother dropping babies? Pics would be great.

My 15 year old mother colony was from my friend Linda. She had that thing in normal desk top type of florescent light for many years.
It is very hardy. It grows fast in my tank, and may be a little slower in her tank.
I get about 1-2 babies every few weeks. You could frag it like other LPS. I have not learned to use a Dremal so I have been using my rose cutters/sheers. I made 8 babies last week, but it turned out to be 10 because of fractured skeletal will separate and form more babies.
I would like to see what color is yours may be we could....
