In our continuing Product spot light series we would like to bring focus to the GHL Fan Breeze series of cooling fans.

The highest quality fan cooling system that can lend itself to uses even beyond the aquarium

The extremely low noise and durable fan system comes in 3, 4 and 5 fan models. The build quality of these units have been reported to be unrivalled in both quality, styling and quiet running. Users who previously relied on PC fan systems or plastic low priced assemblies are amazed at the difference once switching to the Breeze Fan system.

Built to the highest spec fans have aluminium and stainless steel components and utilise a universal tiltable mounting device. The actual cooling fans are built using the highest grade components, all originating from Germany.

The Breeze system is also fully user maintainable, in the event of an unfortunate water accident the assy can be easily stripped down and parts replaced as required.

The operation works with a safe low voltage (12V).

The good part also about the breeze system is that it is not limited to just GHL ProfiLux controller owners, (although it is nice to think that the ProfiLux would be the first choice of controller anyway). Due to the fan system running on 110V/12V dc adapter the fan can be run on a timed wall socket or other cooling controllable devises. This allows the system to be used for many applications where high quality cooling fans with the upmost of noise reduction is paramount.

Technical data

PropellerBreeze 3
195cbm/h, dimensions without mounting brackets 40x125x276mm
PropellerBreeze 4
260cbm/h, dimensions without mounting brackets 40x125x368mm
PropellerBreeze 5
325cbm/h, dimensions without mounting brackets 40x125x460mm

However if you are a ProfiLux owner then you can also utilise the Fan breeze variable speed controller

PropellerControl enables the ProfiLux Computer to operate the fan PropellerBreeze speed-controlled. PropellerControl is connected to a 1-10V-interface of the ProfiLux Plus (II).

Dependent on the excess of the desired temperature, the speed of the fan is set automatically. So the fan always rotates as fast as necessary and as low-noised as possible.

Constant or Variable

Constant or Variable

So, the fan without the speed controller is only and on - off fan. If I want the variable option, I need to purchase this add-on controller???

I picked up the Breeze 5 with the variable speed controller last month. It works very well and most importantly, is very quiet. I can't hear the fans outside my canopy.

Question...

Question...

I like the features of the fans...

variable, controllable, quiet...

I have two cheap fans working with the controller to make the cooling work the best. I have always wanted these fans, but the price is tough to afford. I replace my cheap fans about every two years due to salt damage and rust. $15 bucks make the replacement easy.

The question:

How long do you think this will last with all this stuff eating away at it daily?

Are they made of stainless?

Any help would be great!

Hi

The GHL Breeze fan systems are made of the most highest quality components available, this includes stainless steel and anodised aluminium.

As with all electrical devises care should always be taken that the equipment is not subject to water incursion/salt spray and it is recommended that the fans are set up to blow not suck across the tank and also pointed in a slight incline off the water surface.

The Breeze fans are designed to provide years of trouble free silent performance.
