Feather duster?

So I picked up a few frags yesterday, dipped the for 10 minutes in coral rx viral dip. Inspected them with a magnify glass, just saw this lil tube, today I see it has what looks like a feather duster, looking for suggestions... hope the picture is clear enough

Guess I'm curious if where it is will bother the zoa, since it's polyp isn't open all the way, because of the dusters placment.

Everything looks fine to me, but if your skeptical the feather duster should be no trouble at all to remove. That tube is probably hard so if you have a small screwdriver or something similar you could just break the shell apart.
