Feb 25th 2017, LEAR FRAG FEST!!!

Attendance was around 750 which I believe was more the last year. Reeftrader numbers were almost identical to last year in terms of users, listings and reservations.

Next year I'm thinking about moving the raffle table over to where they sell the food and drinks, moving that section into another room. Frosts section will get moved as well to fix that bottle neck. I had to cheat and go through the exit doors to sneak around that crowd myself. We had less vendors this year as many of them bought more the one space. My goal for next year is to bring in world wide corals, they almost made it to a swap in the past. I think we have a proven track record with high attendance year after year, that along with being able to stay the night on site helps. Wish me luck!

If moving the food to another room is there a way of opening that area up to more vendors? Say putting raffle stuff down the center and outlining the room for more vendors?

I like that the vendors are buying more table space to have the selection but i would love to be able to view other vendors to build relationships with them and see other items that might not be as common.

Was a nice show otherwise. Im glad your thinking about that bottle neck area.

One of the vendors along the left wall if you had your back to where Frost was. Looking at the floor layout on the Lear website it would have been the third table in from the back wall - worked by just one guy and he only had one frag tank.

I'm also looking for a map. Don't remember the coral vendors name I saw that I would like to contact.
