I know we all love pictures (and I have finally figured out how to post them as more than just attachments), so I thought I would share this one with you guys. :D

Hey Chad... Post a full tank shot of that SH tank will ya?

I have some Macro algea you might be interested in. Its like a stalk of disks off of the main runner. Pretty sweet looking. Lemme know.

Haha, I have some older ones on my photo album... Ill take some new ones when the lights come one tomorrow (and when I say I, I mean my girlfriend, who is much better at taking pictures than I am!!)
I may be interested, do you know the species or have a picture?
Thanks!

Ill take a pic tommorow when i get home from work. I looked online and could only find one that looked close but it wasnt exact. ill continue looking.

(cheato is doing fine btw under a 15w flourescent for now)

Thanks for the comments all!

I actually have a little bit of racemosa in my tank, but thank you for the offer... it actually doesnt grow very well vs. my chaeto... its funny, I have a little bit of maidens hair in the fuge that is doing ok though... You can see it if you look closely at the bottom left of the tank.

As promised here is the FTS

and here is the FTS including the fuge (its a bad picture, I ended up taking it instead of my girl which is why its so washed out... Im not sure how she does that...)

Finally here is the fuge (which I also took), flow in there is pretty high which moves the sand around a bit at night when more pumps run (its daytime for the fuge).

thank you!

The SH tank is a 60g tank and has about 900 gph (about 600 through the 2" pvc in the middle of the tank, and a 300 gph ph in the back left of the tank) also I have a nano wavebox on the lowest setting. Basically directly in front of two pumps is what i would call med-high flow, everywhere else in the tank is a bit lower but everything moves gently back and forth.

Caulerpa_Racemosa. I found it finally.

C. racemosa is known as "green grape Caulerpa", which is round-shaped. what you have there is C. racemosa peltata, which is known as "suction cup Caulerpa" it is just a prolific as C. racemosa.

do be careful when pruning it...place all of your cuttings in a plastic bag and freeze them for 24 hrs prior to disposal.

also, if the stuff turns white with tiny green spots, remove any of the algae that looks like that as it's a sign that it will go sexual in short order and spooge your tank.

Thanks all for the comments all, I appreciate them!!

Greg, I had about that many tanks at one time too.. Its a lot of time, effort and reward! That has quite obviously paid off in a lot of knowledge and experience that you very kindly share with others.

My hats off to you!

Hey cool pics Chad. Mind if I ask which LFS you use? I was a big fan of Scales, but since they closed I really don't enjoy the hike out to Marine Scene.

Sure, but first, I dont purchase the SHs locally, there isnt anywhere that has the quality that I am looking for, plus most LFS SHs do not come from sources that I am willing to support. (hopefully, in the relatively near future, I can be the local supplier of SHs, but I dont quite have fry raising tanks completely together yet)
I dont know of good LFSs that are really close. Pristine Aquarium is the closest decent place (fairly new, near Landmark Mall), Marine Scene is the closest good place, Blue Ribbon Koi is good, but further than MS. Finally, Exotic Aquatics is excellent, but they are a little north of Baltimore and quite the hike.
Sorry I cant bee of more help :( Good luck!
