Female Maroon digging hole

I have a pair of maroon clowns and recently added a RBTA. They immediately started hosting in the nem. Since the introduction of the nem, the female maroon has dug a huge hole in the sand around the rock that the nem is on. Is she getting ready to lay eggs. Anything I can do to stop her form constantly moving sand around?

She's doing some house keeping. It's perfecly normal behavior and there's not a darn thing you can do to stop it.

The sand will get blown, the hand that feeds will be charged, and the fingers will get nipped. A good sign (at least from what I've seen from my percs pair and my GSM pair) that they are getting ready to lay eggs is if they start cleaning off a rock of anything they don't like, not necessarily the sand. My percs lay eggs on my Corner Overflow and my GSM lay eggs on a rock behind one of my 7 RBTA's

Note: Clown pairs are in separate tanks
