well i got a 125 and i cannot even fit it into my basment
Go figure just my luck
anyone wanna trade for so mefthing smaller let me know
if not ill put it in storage till i move

yea but i can also keep it and set it up when i move cause lord know the wife will never let me buy a tank that big
if its free its a diffrent story
and im alreay getting a stand from a guy on here hopefully

I was intrested in the 125 also but he held it for you. i will be happy to come pick it up from you. I was there twice and met you yesterday so I could have picked it up then. Kinda doesnt seem right that you cant use something but want to profit from someone elses generosity. I could see if you got it in a private deal or trade but not when it was reserved for you and you cant even use it.

Hpow am i gonna profit IM NOT SELLING IT
ill use the thing in a year or so if i have to wait then i wait I already have 3 tanks going now want to condense 2 into one but i cant fit it into the doorway
when i get my new house ill put it into the wall. I can see if i was trying to sell it and make money then it would be wrong for me to do which i am not i was just seeing if someone who wants bigger and obvisoully smaller for me would fit would want to trade and use it now.

so no im in no wrong cause its NOT FOR SALE \\and i dont think the wife would let me cut a hole inm the wall to keep it into my basement

o yea and u didnt meet me cause me and a few guys i work with were there WHEN NO ONE ELSE WAS during th day

How did he know it wouldnt fit ahead of time? And to me it looks as though he is trying to pass on the good fortune by trading it for something smaller. This gives another reefer a chance to have a larger tank upgrade at no cost. Sorry for being off topic all.... that just kind of bothered me. jwblocal701 got there first. End of story.

Sorry we have not met then and I apologize. And the reason I said anything is I also see that you are trading the lights (in another post) along with the tank in this post. So I did assume you were just picking things up for profit. I am sorry if your intent was misunderstood.

I have a 125 tall we might beable to trade. It's 48lx18wx31h. Give you the same gallons, just a smaller foot print.

Catharsis its simple to premeasure the path ahead of time. I wanted the largest tank I could fit in my basement so I broke out the tape measure and measured the path Once I had the dimensions I figured a 220 would fit and that's what was purchased. Because I know the dimensions of my path I know the 125 would fit down there also. This isn't a sour grapes or second place loser posting. It was a posting about just don't take things just to have them and let everyone share the wealth. If you read the last post I made I apologized for assuming the intent. Not a flame war or attack.

Edited for spelling LOL

So jbwlocal701, You're telling us your doorways are less than 18" wide and smaller than 6' tall? I'm looking at getting a 280 gallon tank in my basement. 72" 36" 24"Tall. My doorways are 31" w by 76 tall. You see what I'm getting at??

Perhaps it's a matter of turning tight corners, that prevents him from getting the tank to its final destination, but really, it is none of our business as to what the problem is with moving the tank into the house.

Like Catharsis70 said, this is a great opportunity for someone else to upgrade for free. Seems like a win/win situation to me.....

Carpe I did some cool tricks on a very tight landing I had to stand the 220 on one end slide it over and pull it from the bottom because it couldnt be tipped. The hard part was the weight not the size but it fit LOL

no i have a batrhoom across the door to the basement then a sharp right to get into the basment
a 125 tall would fit great i can swint that
i need to stand the tank straight up and tilt then to get down stairs
o yea and the light i have for the tank to 6 foot vho with ballast

the other lights i got i was going to put in my 56 and the darn things are 3 inches to long i though my tank was 36 inches and its not its an oddball so i am still passing them along if someone has shorter ones and wants bigger

trust me what i dont use will be one here like the tank i just posted

if i keep this tank it will get its use in a year when i hopefully move and put it into a wall

and like carthasis said

is someone want to go big and i need to go small y not swap what the diffrence there is none

You can speculate all you want about what size item fits through a normal doorway under normal circumstances, or whether a reasonable person would measure a doorway before buying something. However, the inescapable fact is that he only offered to trade the tank for a smaller tank. Since he cannot possibly profit from this, he has no motive for lying.

Thank you all for getting my back
i wouldnt sell something i get for free that is wrong trust me i want a huge tank especiall to **** off the wife
hell i would put it down there and leave it empty just to **** her off

Feel the love....

Come on people yes he got it for free and it sucks that "you' didn't get it first... but lets not be jerks about it :)

Wasnt trying to be a Jerk I made a mistake. and just to show no hard feelings I will volunteer my tank moving skills to help try and get the 125 he has into the basement. My wife hates the 220 because its a beast in the basement so I understand LOL
